Desktop computers are not fashionable any more and everybody loves laptops now because they are a lot smaller and more portable, which gives you a lot of freedom to move where you want or need to. But sometimes you just can’t find the right spot for your laptop because the coffee table is too low, the dinner table too big and you want something just the right size for it. Kids go through different stages and have all sorts of behaviors according to the stage they cross over. They have a period when they are unable to go standing on their feet, then they love to go all by themselves and prefer not to be helped by anyone, they have a stage when they are very curious, love to keep things for themselves or a period when they love to share things and play with the other kids. I have a thing for black furniture because it looks so cool and modern and because it matches any colour you may have in the room. It is somehow classy and elegant and emphasizes the things you display on it. This Bacata Bookcase is perfect for any home and it is the perfect picture for my words. Unique Chic: Paint to Create a Unique Space in Your Home

It doesn't have to take a ton of money or even a lot of effort to create a unique space in your home. Sometimes you don't want to stick with the usual and expected, and instead want to have some fun and mix things up a bit.

Accent Wall.

Simply by adding an accent wall in a room, you create an entirely new feel to the space. Paint the wall only a shade lighter or darker than the others for a softer, more subtle look, or in a contrasting color for a bold, dramatic look.

Trim Time.

Instead of focusing on the walls, paint the trim a different color when you paint a room. This isn't something you usually see in a room, and it creates a fun, unfamiliar look as a result. For the most professional looking finish, choose a brighter color and opt for high gloss paint. Don't miss any of the trim, from the baseboard trim to the crown molding.

Ceiling Design.

Our Kid – an unusually cute piece of furniture

It's not easy to come up with an original design, something that has never been approached before, even start a new concept. This is the goal of every designer and some of them manage to impress with their creations. It's the case of this intriguing piece of furniture called Our Kid. The name suits it well. Our Kid is a different kind of cabinet.

The piece was designed by Daniel Schofield and it has a very simple but very original look. The idea was to create something simple but without using the same old clichés. The designer wanted to reinvent the whole concept behind this piece. As you can see, Our Kid is minimalist. It consists of a wooden structure that includes only one drawer. The drawer has two small holes that resemble two eyes. The wooden structure is sitting on four legs. It's actually a single metal structure with four actual legs.

The whole combination of legs and eyes turns this piece of furniture into a lovely creature. It's a very cute piece and it's hard to resist it when you see it. It would be a wonderful item for the kids' bedroom but also for anyone who likes cute things. In order to highlight the simplicity of this model, the drawer features a natural finish and the metal legs have a friendly blue shade.

Calligaris Hero Chair

I am a merry and optimistic person, so you can say that I “see life coloured in pink”. I like being surrounded by merry people and also by colourful things. So this Calligaris Hero Chair seems like the perfect choice for me. It is pink (even though it can be available in other colors, too), it is cool and modern and it is very practical, as you can use it both indoors and outdoors. This chair is produced by the Italian company called Calligaris and they seem to be famous for combining quality, technology and style when designing their products.

This chair is the best example and it is really cool. It is made of polypropylene plastic which makes it water and weather resistant and also makes it appropriate for outdoor use, too. The circles sculpted in the chair allows water to drip from it and make it look pretty interesting as design. The four legs are thin and elegant, but strong enough to support a body weight. The chair sells in sets of four and it is a good thing that they are stackable, four being the perfect number of chairs you can place on top of each other. Apart from Fuchsia (yes, I admit, I called this colour pink), the item is also available in green, Milky white and red and can be bought for $590.40 (set of 4).

White Corner Table from IKEA

Every once in a while I make some smaller or bigger changes in my house because I get bored of the same design all the time. Sometimes I just move the furniture around, sometimes I buy some new accessories , I bring in a plant or something similar. But sometimes I decide it is time for some serious changes that will totally change the room design. So this spring I decided to move the furniture along the walls and leave the middle of the room completely free in order to let my kids build their toy castle there. So the best idea seemed to use the corners in order to save some space. I found this amazing White Corner Table from IKEA and I immediately thought it was perfect for my plan.

The table is specially designed to be place in a corner and also to offer easy access to it , so it will have five legs and will be round on the interior, while the exterior will be square, in order to fit the corner. This interesting table from IKEA was designed by Jon Karlsson and was called VIKA AMON/ VIKA ADILS . The legs are made of steel while the table top is made of fiberboard and particleboard, making a nice combination. The piece of furniture can be bought from IKEA stores for just $65.

Lilly Pendant

Apartments have become very modern nowadays and that means they are mainly designed to be practical, not good looking. So there are all these modern and electrical appliances and the cool modern furniture, metallic and chrome plated accessories that make you believe you live in a futuristic society. But all these make our homes look farther and farther from nature. Well, it would be a good idea then to bring a bit of nature into our homes, even if in a stylized form like this Lilly Pendant. This is not just another pendant that you can use in your house, it is beautiful and inspired from nature.

Its natural designed is inspired from the flower called lilly and the designer tried very hard to make it look as realistic as possible. Colourful apartment

Normally interior designers would advise you never to use more than three colours when decorating a room because otherwise the visual effect created is one of chaos and is maddening. Too many colours do not look well together and when you ue three there is harmony and good taste and you can combine them in a nice way without too much of a n effort. Any way, if the walls are painted in white and the furniture in the room has a neutral colour like grey or dark, you can bright up a room by bringing in many colourful decorations, as you can see in this colourful apartment. They are smaller in size so they will only bring a touch of colour to the general interior design, so the effect will be a fine one.

Look at these pictures carefully and imagine you remove all the decorations from the room. What do you get? A very dull grey and brownish room with white walls. But if you accessorize it properly it will become a beautiful room decorated with good taste. The colourful accessories that are used are: four red leather chairs around a glass table, three orange ornamental vases, colourful small painting in black frames and a small cabinet with a white and a yellow drawer.
