Bathroom Soap Dishes with Interesting Designs

Soap dishes are those small items made of porcelain or glass or even plastic that people use to hold the soap. Because soap is used every day and it gets slippery in contact with water you must keep it in these special places. And most times you do not pay too much attention to soap dishes or soap dispenser unless they break or get dirty or something similar. Any way, I like interesting shapes and designs even for these little things, so I was more than pleased to find this set of Bathroom Soap Dishes on Pottery Barn.

As you can see from the picture, one of the soap dishes looks like a bathtub, another like a bathroom sink and finally the last one shaped just like a bathroom vanity. They are so well designed as they have every single detail and, let’s admit, this is a bit funny and ironic at the same time. It is as if you have smaller replicas of bathroom furniture used as soap dishes. The design is Victorian and the pieces are molded in hand-molded stoneware with a glazed finish. Umbra Birdseye Multi Hook

I think that if you want to buy something for the home, you’d better buy something that is both functional and decorative. So if you need a new coat rack or hook, why don’t you purchase something funny and good looking that looks very well even if it is unused? This is the Umbra Birdseye Multi Hook, a nice multi hook for the clothes that is shaped like birds. The designer, Thea Yuzyk, imagined this nice hanger to be made of metal and having the shape of two birds.

The hooks of metal that are used for hanging the coats are actually the bird’s wing. Because we don’t want the hanger to collapse when supporting the coats, it is fixed with two solid knobs on the sides. Decorative Corner Shelf

In my opinion corners are not enough valued and exploited because everybody thinks they are very narrow spaces and do not use them for anything. But you can save space if you use them, especially if your home is small. So instead of covering a wall with shelves you can use aDecorative Corner Shelf and use the space in the corners for storing things on the shelves, for example books and also for displaying decorative objects like small statues or bowls, vases or coloured stones.

I think that corner shelves are great and it’s a creative idea to use this space. Look at this wonderfully designed shelf and you will see my point. Jewelry Tree

All women love jewelry and they have a bigger or a smaller number of rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings. I have lots of such things and I keep them in three jewelry boxes. But this can be really annoying when I am in a hurry because I can never find what I am looking for unless I spend a quarter of an hour doing that. That happens because all the jewels in the box get mixed and intertwined and it is not that easy to find a small item in a big pile. There is an old proverb that says that practice makes perfect. That is why most companies that have a long time of tradition in manufacturing certain items are also very good at it and famous for it.
