You can make cookies cakes, a big birthday cake or some pancakes – anything as long as they are sweet and taste well. But in this case you should have a special ceramic or glass cake stand that you can use to place or display your masterpiece. | add-On Modular Radiator from Tubes Posted: 15 Aug 2011 07:03 AM PDT Sometimes I think that people who design things you need around the house don’t have any inspiration and imagination whatsoever, but they only concentrate on the practicality of the item. Or at least that what what I thought when I was looking for new radiators for my home. All of them had absolutely the same shape and design and only differed very little in size. But my house is pretty singular and the rooms in it are very different both as size and design, so I needed different radiators for each. Finally I gave up my dream and bought regular ones, but I did find this incredible modular radiator on the internet, even if it is only a concept and I am not sure where and if they sell the product.
This modern heater is designed by Satyendra Pakhale for Tubes. It is supposed to be modular, so you can combine the number of elements that suits your purpose and then mount it on the wall and then attach it to the heating system. This way you will have the heater of your dreams that looks perfect and is very practical, too. You can use your imagination and obtain heaters of different shapes and even colours and turn them into reals works of art. You can use these special heaters in any room and nobody will ever guess this is not some art design exhibit, but a nice heater. Take for example this DIY Food- Safe Bowl. The first step is just to eat a bunch of nuts or somehow acquire a lot of shells. Make sure to save your shells if you are eating them. You might need about 100 shells to make a small bowl and maybe 250 for a larger one. To do this project, all you really need is some pistachio shells (or any shell really) and a bottle of white glue or other non-toxic glue. A good way to clean your shells, particularly if they are very salty, is to boil them. This step is not necessary but makes for a nicer finished product. You can do this all with your hands, but if you have it available you can use an existing bowl or tuper-ware as a mold and you can line the mold with suran-wrap or parchment paper for easy cleans up.Mix a handful of nuts with about a tablespoon of glue to create your mixture. Once the mixture is tacky, push your mixture into your mold or desired shape. Let your mixture dry in the mold for a couple of hours. If you would like to speed up the process, let the glue dry under a fan. Remove the bowl from your mold. Locate weak spots and touch them up with small amounts of glue.
