Stunning House in Malibu-Birdview Residence

If you have money and want a new home, this next house could be the perfect place for you. Located in Malibu, the Birdview Residence is on the market for $27 million. Designed by Doug Burdge in collaboration with Tim Clarke, this house is an astounding property.

This diverse contemporary home stretches over 10,000sqf and has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Great room pocket doors open wide to a 50′ long pool/spa, which is perfect for entertaining family and friends. Moreover the house has large floor to ceiling windows that delight you with breathtaking ocean, island and sunset views.


The interior design by Tim Clarke is simply gorgeous. The living area has modern furnishings, like the rest of the house, but also a beautiful fireplace as the focal point. The entertaining areas are open in order to create an airy space. This oversized version of the wool pompon is an unusual piece of furniture and it was designed for modern and unconventional homes. Another interesting detail about this piece is the fact that it was created from wool obtained from the recyclage of 2700 m of selvaged waste material from the textile production. It’s a colorful piece that actually consists of two different elements: a donut and a pompon.

Amazing House Design by João Laranja Queirós

This next property in Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal isn’t big on space, but the architects found a way to exploit it and create a beautiful structure. House Canidelo is siting on a 319sqm plot and was designed by João Laranja Queirós.

Starting from a rectangular body, the architects created two cubes that work as one. The house presents both simple and complex forms, symmetrical and balanced, with a geometry that will succeed in becoming a single architectural object. Another aspect that they had to consider was the issue of the “mass”, the search of a volume that could excavate depths resulting in a play of light and shadow.

The building houses social rooms, toilets, office and garage in the basement or -1 floor; distribution area, kitchen, toilets and common room on the ground level and “traditional” rooms, sanitary on the first floor. Moreover the house is mainly built out of concrete with emphasis on the white concrete, which creates shadows. It has a neutral color palette and bright wooden floors that make it feel like a big, airy space. The furniture is modern and is very well fitted to the rooms.

All in all, The Canidelo House is a reflection of integrity and a really lovely place to live in.

How cool is it to have a rolling fireplace that you can just roll wherever you want? It's one of the most ingenious and surprisingly simple designs for this particular piece. It has a very intriguing design that will spice up the atmosphere anywhere you put it. Actually, the idea is not that elaborate. It's just a circle, similar to a wheel with nothing special about it. But this is not the interesting part. The clever part is the part that this simple but challenging shape has been incorporated in the design of an actual fireplace. The result is spectacular.

The circular structure is made of powder-coated steel, so it's not inflammable, it's just heavy. It has a black finish that adds elegance and style. Snakes are not among the animals that I love or favor. Their cold body and aggressive appearance make me think of fear and danger. They usually amaze you through their vivid colors, huge dimensions or interesting way of living. They can inspire you violence, frightness, cunning or power. It depends on how much you like or do not like these animals.

The Architects Zechner & Zechner were inspired by the features of a cobra and designed this solar building on the peaks of Alps Mountains in Austria.Actually, it is a big terminal that takes the shape of an impressive and dangerous snake called cobra. It has an observation deck which resembles the mouth of the snake and its base which represents its body.

Although this building looks aggressive like the surrounding area it is an eco- friendly terminal. It uses solar thermal collectors for its own production of energy.

The round shape seems to be very popular these days. We have seen round tables, coffee tables, round entertainment centers, round Storage spaces and even rolling fireplace designs. So it's not that unusual to see this round bookcase. It's a very modern and impressive design and it comes in many bright colors.

This unusual bookcase features several cells or storage units that are very small and can only accommodate one book each. So it's not the most appropriate design for those who have a large book collection. You will have to be very selective in your choices as you can only use this piece to store 15 books. So create a top for the best 15 books you have. The idea behind this project was to create something different that differentiates itself from the conventional bookcase design. Elaborate Magistral Cabinet by Sebastian Errazuriz

I'm sure that by now you've already seen plenty of furniture designs to be able to make an impression on a new piece. Cabinet are one of the most common pieces of furniture, so it's very interesting when someone comes up with a new design, especially when it's a bold and very interesting one. The designer Sebastian Errazuriz has created a real art piece when he had the idea for this cabinet. It's called the Magistral Cabinet and it has a very elaborate look.

The most interesting detail on this cabinet is the dynamic effect of all the skewers that cover the surface of this piece. The whole cabinet is wrapped in over 80.000 bamboo skewers. The effect is incredible. Each bamboo skewer was individually hammered into the previously carved wooden structure, so it's a very organized design. But the look is not all that this cabinet has to offer. This impressive exterior structure hides several drawers and opening that are hidden under this spiky surface.

As the cabinet opens up, multiple storage areas are revealed. When it's closed, it has a compact look. It's a very functional and practical piece of furniture with an impressive and artistic design, an interesting combination that is not easy to find. It has a dramatic look that would be great for a modern or contemporary home. The effect would be spectacular.

Dazzling House Designed for Entertaining

American designer Mark Tracy of Chemical Spaces has designed the Hurtado Residence in one of the upscale communities of Las Vegas, Nevada. The project was finished this year and has an incredible architecture on the exterior and gorgeous interior design.

Siting on a 10,000sqf plot this residence is a contemporary beauty. The entire house has neutral, soft colors in order to create an airy space, and dazzling blue LED light fixtures to highlight everything. Moreover, when you open the aluminum front door you can see an elevator that is surrounded by custom artwork and a stainless steel staircase.

The living area is one big, open space that has a sleek fireplace as a focal point. Furthermore the kitchen has multitasking, multifunctional stainless steel appliances. The bedroom also has very modern furniture and some mirrors to make the space feel bigger.

The Hurtado Residence is a fascinating house, in an art-gallery style, designed to entertain people that love to party. It is just like a dream come true.
