[ClermontFLReUseIt] Pop-up Camper, needs lots of work (Citrus Tower)

 

If you have extra time on your hands, this would be a good project camper. Nothing it needs done is very difficult, just time consuming. It is a Jayco, "J" Series. When done it should sleep 6 comfortably. I don't have pics, it isn't much to look at. Please don't ask me a ton of questions about it, here is pretty much everything I know it needs:

Replace the canvas, this will involve replacing some plywood in the roof that the canvas attaches to. (FYI, I do have the canvas for it, but I am selling that either together or separately).

The roof itself has a 2 inch metal trim that goes all the way around it, it needs to be re-caulked or something like that.

3 of the 4 small cushions that go together to make a bed have no cover. I threw them away because I was making new ones, but then never got around to it.

The two large cushions that make the other beds still have cushions, but I would re-cover them. I suppose you could just put sheets over them and use as they are though, but they are old and to me an itchy, hot material.

Three of the four cables need replaced. We have the tool to do it, we did one and then another snapped and we decided they all should be done to be safe but never got that far.

The floor is old and has been patched with plywood. We planned to get a box or two of those sticky vinyl tiles and put it down to make the floor look nice.

We were going to add an air conditioner somehow, but never got so far as to figure out exactly how or where.

I know there is a small sink, stove and cabinets in there, but I can't tell you anything about them. Just never made it that far.

I know it sounds like a lot, and it is, but it's not hard stuff, just need the time to do it, which is what we don't have. Let me know if you might want to come see it.
