Where to place the fish tank in the house?

Many people have pets in the house and some of them choose their pets to be fish. Well, it is obvious that if you have fish you must also have a fish tank for them. But , depending on the size and number of your fish and also on the species you must choose the right tank. If you follow the proper instructions you will know exactly what to do to offer them the appropriate living conditions. But then there is one more question: where to place the fish tank in the house?

Well, if your fish tank is small you can place it almost everywhere, but if it is bigger you should be very careful. However, there are a few things you should consider when choosing the right spot for your fish tank and basically these are the places that are forbidden for a fish tank or better said which are better to avoid.

For example it is better for you to avoid placing it near the windows. That is because they will be exposed to direct sunlight and if your fish are used to living in deep waters this won’t be good for them. Besides, windows are made to be opened and fish don’t normally like sudden temperature changes.

That same condition applies if you place the fish tank near heaters or radiators. So avoid doing so, as you must keep a constant temperature in the tank. It is also a good idea to keep the fish tank away from any power source like a wall plug or some other electrical wires because in case of accident it is better to keep these things away from water.

Also do not place it somewhere where accidents are more likely to appear like behind the door or in the middle of the room (unless it is a coffee table fish tank like in the photo).

Try to place the fish tank somewhere where you can easily see them in order to notice any sudden changes in their behavior or if they get sick or there are some cracks. So avoid the places in the house where you rarely go or where you do not pay attention to the surrounding area, like a dark hallway or the balcony or something similar. Basically place it under your permanent supervision, but not some place with a lot of traffic.

Clearly this is the most beautiful hotel which I have seen around.The Juvet Landscape Hotel it’s located in Gudbrandsjuvet, Norway and was designed by JSA Architects.Each room it’s a small independent house with spectacular mountain views.Furthermore the interior was decorated to warm the atmosphere.

Make Your Drawer Handles Totally You

Have you ever taken out time to evaluate as in why your cabinets and dressers wear a dull and pale look? If you like the majority of the homeowners believe that since you are unable to buy new ones then you are totally wrong. It is not necessary that you need to buy new furniture pieces or completely remodel them to get the desired look. Through the use of simple enhancements, you can easily impart a new fresh to your furniture. The easiest way to impart a new look is to make your drawer handles look totally different.

Below is a list of ways to make your handles totally distinct and you –

1) Purchase some bright and bold stickers. Mix half portion pva glue with half portion of water. Stick the stickers on the drawer handles. Brush the glue and water solution over the stickers and let them dry. You may also photos or bright cut outs from magazines and newspapers as stickers.

2) Get some exquisite charms and beads. Thread these onto a string in an interesting color combination or pattern. Try gold and black, orange with hot pink, ocean blue with white, brown and pink, grey and green, turquoise and purple, yellow and scarlet or any other striking combination. Tie or twine these beads on to the drawer handles for a charming and a fascinating look.

3) Get a fine, big shell and stick it on the center of the drawer handle for a completely exuberant look. If it is the drawers of your living room that you are working on, then try to get a shell of mother of pearl. Alternatively, you may also stick a big semi precious jewel piece.

4) Cut out a wadding piece in accordance to the size of the handle. Stick it all over the drawer handle and cover it up with a bright fabric.

5) Purchase a packet of polymer clay from the market and prepare the dough according to the manufacturer's directions. Remove the handle from the cabinet and clean its surface. Roll out a thin sheet of clay and cover it on all sides of the drawer handle. Imprint your preferred designs on the clay. Bake the covered handles according to the manufacturer's directions. When they are done, stick some acrylic gem stones and re attach the drawer handle to the furniture piece.
