White is the symbol for purity and cleanliness. That is why many people prefer arranging their rooms and even the entire homes in white. I like white very much and I even like white bedrooms and the white furniture is really beautiful. Our ancestral memory is probably present and triggers some very unusual tastes in us, since we discover we love animal prints very much without being hunters and farmers or living in the jungle, but actually loving animals very much. It must be in our genetic code to love animal prints as a reminder of the days when our ancestors fought them for their lives and sometimes lost the battle.

How to reduce humidity in your home?

Humidity is good and some people even use special humidifiers to maintain a pleasant atmosphere and avoid the too dry air that makes every breath hurt. However, there must be a balance, as too much humidity in your home can be very harmful, too. That is especially for the children that can get allergic to everything and also develop asthma because of the mold that grows in these conditions. Normally too much humidity in the house means that the house does not have enough air flow and that somehow you stopped the natural air circulation on both sides of the wall. If you make the walls of your house waterproof and totally insulated, you prevent the humid air from the outside get in the house, but also do not let the humidity from the inside get out. So this is exactly what you should do if you want a healthy house.

First of all make sure you keep the windows and doors open for as long as possible, especially if your house is situated in an area where there is little wind circulation. Make special vents and use fans, especially for the bathroom and the kitchen, the two rooms where humidity levels are the highest.
