Please give me a moment of your time.
Recently I have gotten requests from members who are responding to
something someone else is offering.
If our rules and protocols are not clear, please be sure to review this
brief message.
The purpose of Ontario California Freecycle is to accommodate people
sharing usable items with others who can use them, thereby saving good
things from going to the landfills.
Our goal is to have to list be self sustaining in the sense that not
every post has to be reviewed and approved by a moderator.
HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:
Someone offers an item People respond to that person and the offerer
chooses who to give it to. When the item has been taken the person who
gave it away files another post through Freecycle to inform all members
that the item is no longer available.
We do not act as the go between. If you are interested in an item,
contact the person offering it. Any future communication is between you
and that person. Also, if you wish to thank them, which is always a
nice thing, do it directly to them.
