Posted: 09 Dec 2011 05:46 AM PST This intriguing piece of furniture is a unique coffee table. It's called the Fracture coffee table and it was designed by Matthew Hilton. It's crafted with a powder-coated steel frame for durability and support and an American black walnut or American white oak top. The coffee table is manufactured in Portugal by De La Espada. It has an intriguing design. The top is split of, better said, fractured into three units. They all have different shapes and together they form a square-shaped coffee table. And the best part is that they can be sued independently. You can spread the three units around the house and sue them wherever they're needed. This unique coffee table is part of a larger collection of products that will be manufactured in small quantities.
The Fracture coffee table is available in two different options. There' the version made of American black walnut or the one made of American white oak. They both feature a beautiful Danish oil finish or white oil finish. They also have a painted steel base. The dimensions of the coffee table are 39.4″ w | 39.4″ d | 15.75″ h and it can be bought for $3,385.00 plus an additional delivery tax. This is a truly unique piece of furniture. It has a simple design but the single detail of being cut into three unit makes it so special. Two-level Triose building in Lonavala, India Posted: 09 Dec 2011 05:07 AM PST This exquisite model of modern architecture is one of the most impressive building in that particular area. It’s called Triose and it’s located in Lonavala, India. The building was designed by Sanjay Puri Architects and it features a beautiful contemporary architecture, with impressive angled spaces and geometrical lines. The Triose building is a two-level structure that houses retail shops, a food court, two restaurants, a lodge bar and an entertainment gaming area. Building it wasn’t easy, especially since the goal was to create a visually imposing building that would also allow impressive views over the surroundings. In fact, when you think about it, this design is actually perfect for that purpose because it manages to do both things in the same time.
The building features a concrete shell that protects the interior and forms a frame while also forming large open spaces that act as a buffer between the interior and the exterior and offer panoramic views. The Triose building has been divided into three volumes. A central circulation spine connect them all. One of these volumes is the restaurant on the first floor. There’s a higher volumes that includes the food court. The third volumes is the gaming area. The building also includes a beautiful sheltered deck and also an extensive parking level that can accommodate over 100 cars.{found on archdaily} Subscribe to Homedit's Feed to get constant updates of our Awesome Posts!© Homedit- Daily interior design ideas ! | Permalink to Two-level Triose building in Lonavala, India |
A beautiful pillow collection from Each Camp Home Posted: 09 Dec 2011 04:21 AM PST There are lots of animal lovers out there and I'm sure the majority of them are going to love this pillow collection. This is a collection from East Camp Home and the images printed are actual photographs taken by Valerie Shaff. Valerie, together with Lucy Bohnsack, formed East Camp Home a few years ago. This particular collection is very beautiful. Each pillow features a different picture. It's a collection focused on birds. They are all very beautiful. The pillow measure 20'' x 20'' and they have 100% cotton muslin lining and 100% linen back. The front of each pillow represents a digitally printed version of Valerie's photographs. The pillows are all filled with high-quality fiber fill. East Camp Home doesn't use any animal products in their designs.
In this case it would have been really hypocritical to make a collection representing birds and filling the pillows with their feathers. It's a very beautiful collection. The pillows would make great accessories for the sofa in the living room, for the bedroom, the kids' rooms and basically anywhere else. The photos are really good and all the images are beautiful. The colors chosen for the background also help bring out the best in the picture. This is one of the most impressive pillow prints we've ever presented. So don't waste any more time and choose your favorite. The start from 138$. The New Bau Sallinger Office Is A Mix Of Old And New Posted: 08 Dec 2011 10:47 PM PST The construction company Sallinger Bau GmbH recently finished its new office. The Bau Sallinger Office is located in Liebenfels, Austria and was designed by Spado Architects. The site area measures 14,746 square meters and the new construction of the office started in 2009 and ended in 2011. The company is specialized in earth-moving, structural and civil engineering. It’s a growing family business and it reached a point when an office was a must-have. It’s a large company and it can handle projects of any dimension. The former office of the company was also the residential home of the family. Finally, those two areas are now separated. The new office is a sort of combination between the old and new. The office is basically a one-storey building located to the south of the former residential house of the owners. Moving from one place to the other was simpler in this case.
The new Bau Sallinger Office has high ceilings and a spacious and clean interior. There are several walls that divide the spaces. Since it’s a growing family-business, the office is also opened to new development possibilities and nothing is definitive there. The facade of the new office is entirely made of glass and has a second layer of exposed concrete in front of it. The shell offers sun shading and it also camouflages the building. The office and the building itself has a geometrical shape and multiple openings. The interior is simple, spacious and somewhat formal.{pics by Kurt Kuball and found on archdaily} Subscribe to Homedit's Feed to get constant updates of our Awesome Posts!© Homedit- Daily interior design ideas ! | Permalink to The New Bau Sallinger Office Is A Mix Of Old And New |
