It's actually quite rare that we find an item with such a simple name. This pendant is called George. It's a simple, industrial pendant made of old brass and with a very beautiful cobalt blue finish. The design of the pendant is actually very simple. It combines clean lines with strong industrial touches, resulting is a very eye-catching, statement piece.

Industrial Single-Pole Pendant

For a small fixture this pendant has a strong personality. The modest name suits it very well. This industrial single-pole pendant measures 5'' in diameter, 32'' in length, while the ceiling canopy diameter is 5'' and fitter size2 is ¼''. It has only one socket and it used bulbs with a maximum wattage of 60. The beautiful George pendant can be bought for $190.

I would say that such an intriguing pendant would good beautiful no matter where you put it. It would make a nice addition above the dining room table or in the living room. It would also look beautiful in the bedroom, if the décor and the ceiling height allows you to place it there. Also, there's no reason why you couldn't bring some style in the office for example or in the library. George would look very ice in a library, among books and shelves. It's probably my favorite location so far.

Aspen residence at the limit between east and west

When you can’t seem to be able to make up your mind in terms of a favorite style, if you have contrasting preferences like say, east and west-inspired, giving up one of them is not the only option. you could very well chose them both and try to combine them into a harmonious composition. It’s what the owners of this beautiful residence in Aspen Highlands did and it worked wonderfully for them. Let’s take a closer look at their residence.

It’s a 10,000 square-foot, 4-story home that sits on 1/4 acre lot. Architect Rob Sinclair had to overcomes many challenges when designing this home. As principal of Robert G. Sinclair Architecture, he came up with a design of a floor plan that gradually rotates, level by level, adapting to the mountain slope. It was a bold but very good idea that worked out wonderfully. but the clients were also very specific about the views they wanted to be able to admire from their new home so that had to be taken care of too.

They also has specific requests regarding the style of the interior design. Interior designer Petra Richards of Denver-based Petra Richards Interiors had to face those challenges. The clients wanted a modern home that also has to incorporate the Adirondack style design guidelines for the master plan. They also wanted the modern house to incorporate some elements from the wife’s Malaysian heritage and a collection of fine Far Eastern Art and artifacts.

Combining and incorporating all those requests into one uniform design wasn’t easy but in the end everything worked out perfectly. The house now looks like in the pictures. It’s a unique, original and very beautiful residence that also benefits from incredibly beautiful views.

Even though dining tables are usually rectangular, round tables can also be a very nice choice. Inspiring Outdoors Indoors House in Japan

Be-Fun Design, in collaboration with the folks from EANA, designed the Outdoors Indoors House. This 775 square foot residence is located in Shinagawa-Ku, Japan. The architects tried to give an active couple a home that allows them to enjoy their outdoor activities inside.

Because they had little space to work with, the architects gave this house a vertical form. The street isn’t visible from the outside which shuts out a lot of light. The solution they came up with was to capture some natural light through the tapered roof, an aspect that pushes daylight throughout the well-ventilated building. While it maintains the height and scale of the surrounding structures, it also contrasts the area’s palette with its white, modern finish.

The layout of this unique home revolves around a central bathroom which is siting on a storage unit. Designed as an open space, the kitchen, dining and living rooms open up to a generous stretch of glazing and terrace. The rock climbing wall leads up to a tapering which hovers over the communal area. Furthermore the house is furnished in a minimalistic style, but it still manages to encourage community and fun in this residential neighborhood.

Chic and big apartment in Nolita, Manhattan

For those living in New York and for other around the world, Manhattan is a kind of dream land where everyone wishes to find a spot. Finding a place to stay tends to be quite difficult but definitely not impossible. We managed to find, among the huge number of residences and apartments, a cozy and bright home located in Nolita, an area of downtown Manhattan that we wish to share with you.

The apartment is not extremely large but it’s spacious and it seems quite generous in size. That’s mostly because of the floor plan. t’s an open floor-plan apartment where the living room, dining room and kitchen are one and the same. Moreover, the large windows also contrite to the brightness of the interior.

The decor is light and elegant, with simple furniture and few but tasteful decorations. The high ceilings are also a very nice detail that makes the space seem even larger than it already is. The walls and ceilings have been painted in a beautiful tone of beige that gives a sense of warmth and cozyness. This is a feature that can be applied to all the rooms, including the bathrooms. The wooden floors are also a constant. The color palette for the apartment is mostly neutral, with beige walls and ceilings, light wooden floors and matching rugs and furniture.

The interior decor is modern and chic. It’s actually a contemporary apartment that measures approximately 210 square meters. The living area is definitely the largest. There’s the large windows and the white oak floors contribute to a cozy and inviting atmosphere, doubled by the comfy and stylish furniture and modern fixtures. The fireplace is also a very nice touch. This is the kind of apartment that any New Yorker would like to own. Cars have never been my strong point. I do not owe a driving license and I might never guess the name of a car in case I see its symbol. But I do like cars although I may also add my sick car which has always caused me problems wherever I went. Instead my husband seems to compensate for me all these aspects. He has graduated the Faculty of Mechanics so he manages better than me with different types of cars, at least in theory. He is an engineer and he loves cars probably more than I do.

The amazing element of this shop is represented by the presence use of car tires.Neels Kattentidt tried to create a special place by preserving the rough brick arched walls of the old railway structure and adding this ingenious use of car tires. They were used to create original shelves, display tables and even chandeliers that will definitely become the focal points of this store.
