The clock is ticking and everything must be ready on time. The wreaths from the doors, the special Halloween dishware, the decorative spiders and other scary items should be prepared and on the right spot. The costume is very important too as the sweets for the Trick-or Treaters who will knock from door to door.
If you had not too much time this year for some special preparations and you still want to add some more decorative Halloween items here it is a great DIY project that is easy to make and will add a special color to your table.

| The 2activePR headquarters in Bucharest Posted: 28 Oct 2011 06:32 AM PDT 2active PR is the company that promotes H&M and Procter&Gamble and today we're going to take a look at its Bucharest headquarters. The company only has 18 employees so they wanted a headquarters that would make them feel like a family. They chose a 2-story house that includes the basement, the ground floor and the loft. The headquarters occupies a total surface of 280 sqm. In the building there are actually two companies: 2active PR and the interior design company Disegno.
The company decided to choose a house instead of an office building because of the friendly décor and the garden. They found this house that was originally built in the 1940s by a German architect. The company has been sitting there from 2009 and they have 3 more years according to the contract. The house includes a dining area, two meeting/conference rooms and an equal amount of open and closed spaces.
A slight problem might be the parking area that's quite small. That's why the employees have recently started using other methods to get to work like the bicycle for example, leaving the parking spaces for guests. It's yet another great source of inspiration for those who are currently in search of their dream home or simply want to find the perfect design for their own. This is a very cozy and welcoming house with a remarkably inviting interior design.
There are many things to love about this home so let's start from the kitchen/dining room. It's a spacious area and it's very simple and yet so functional and practical. The room is directly connected to an outdoor terrace through sliding glass doors. Next there's the living room. What I really like about it is the contrasting combination of textures, materials, finishes and colors. The brick wall is very eye-catching.
The same type of wall can also be seen in the bedroom where it nicely integrates into the décor. This room is very simple and it also includes glass walls. I have to say that the paintings spread throughout the house are quite remarkable. Still, I'm not sure I would like to fall asleep with that particular painting above my head.
And then, by far, the most impressive is the library. A room filled with books from any side is something you have to love even though you're not the biggest reader. Still, in the bedroom there's always a problem: not enough storage space. You can usually solve that by adding a dresser or a closet but what if you don't want to? Then you have another option even more clever. It's the LAX headboard, a storage headboard functional in more than one way.
The LAX headboard from Mash Studios is basically a wall-mounted box with shelves inside for storage. It features powder-coated aluminum doors and a very simple and chic design. The LAX headboard coordinates with the LAX platform bed which shares the same minimalist and functional design.
The bed and headboard are made of English walnut with a natural oil finish and powder coated sliding door made of 1/8 inch thick folded white powder-coated aluminum. In spite of the darkness of the design, the house has large windows that let natural light get inside so it's actually a very bright medieval residence, not something that you see every day. It's a sad story with a happy ending.
The dining room features a black dining table and matching chairs. The kitchen has an island in the middle with storage modules on both sides and ceramic tiled floors. There's also a marble countertop and sink. The property also includes a large courtyard with a fireplace and a sort of recreational area with chairs and cushions.
Upstairs there's a spacious lounge area and a library. There's also a child's bedroom featuring puffs, a cozy carpet and an eye-catching canopy bed. Throughout the whole house the ceilings feature exposed beams. The living room is connected to the bedrooms and it has a cozy décor. The master bedroom is connected to the living room and the kids' room and it features a walk-in closet tailored with storage shelves. | Modern and extremely simple CG house by Rethink Studio Posted: 27 Oct 2011 11:27 PM PDT This modern and extremely simple residence is the CG House and it's located in Mauritius, close to a pine forest and situated on a 1000 sqm plot. The project had to include a two bedroom house with all the rooms on the same level and to also incorporate as much space available for gardening as possible. The owner really enjoys taking care of the garden and entertaining family and friends in there.
The client was also an interior decorator who already had an idea of how the interior should look like. It had to be a contemporary design that would reflect her design preferences and that would also showcase some elements used in her recent decors. The house needed to be energy-efficient and sustainable because of the small budget. However, this didn't mean that it would look less striking.
The living/dining room is situated in the center of the house and it can be sued both as a covered terrace and a formal living/dining area. In order to create a unifying décor, rough-sawn pine formwork boarding was sued throughout the house. The result was a contrastive and yet very simple and chic residence, with a timeless design that perfectly integrates in the area and respond well to the tropical climate.
