Those who love gatherings and have company most of the time are more open and sociable. They like to entertain the others and feel nice surrounded by friends. Their home is full of life and dynamism and there is no time for boring moments. For the contrary, people who love loneliness and more reserved, introverted and like peaceful moments dominated by meditation and calm.
Our godfathers are people that have guests most of time at their home, especially in the weekends. As they invite all sorts of friends and relatives they also like to make them feel nice. So, they prepare some lovely drinks and some delicious food with all kinds of deserts in order that everybody feels satisfied and enjoy the moments they spend there. As you enter, there's a large welcoming hall that leads to the other rooms. When that happens, there's nothing you can do but adapt and try to learn and know better next time. It's easy to find cloths to wear for the winter, but what about our home? It needs to be warm too. You can't walk barefooted anymore so you'll have to find a carpet for your home. Here are three interesting options you could consider.
The first one is a zebra British flag carpet available for $995.00. It's hand-made and it's made from 100% llama wool so you can be sure it's soft and cozy and it will keep your feet warm. | Floating House on Lake Huron by MOS Architects Posted: 21 Oct 2011 05:24 AM PDT Today we would like to present you an unique house located in Ontario, Canada. Designed by MOS Architects the Floating House is situated on an island on Lake Huron. Due to its position the residence presents a very complex building.
Annual cyclic change related to the change of seasons made the architects build the house atop a structure of steel pontoons, allowing it to fluctuate along with the lake. Another challenge the architects had to deal with was the expenses of using a traditional construction process, so they worked with the constructor to devise a prefabrication and construction process that maximized the use of the unique character of the site: Lake Huron as a waterway.
This amazing house features huge floor to ceiling windows that bathe the rooms in natural light and, also, offer its residents breathtaking views. Moreover they used soft, neutral tones that create the feeling of a bright, airy space. A “rainscreen” envelope strips dress the house, reduce wind load, heat gain and give it a singular character at the same time.
The Floating House is a handsome structure with simple and clean lines, but it is the location and surroundings that really make it desirable. What do you think? | How to naturally integrate the TV in the living room Posted: 21 Oct 2011 12:02 AM PDT Usually when family members decide to spend some time together, the easier and faster solution is to find a movie or documentary that everyone likes and simply stay in front of the TV enjoying both the show and the time spent together. That's why the TV has become such an important part of the living room and there's basically no living room that doesn't have a TV. Sometimes it's difficult to find a convenient location for the TV, so here are some ideas that could inspire you.
One idea would be to use fixed shelves or entertainment centers. This will provide you with a fixed place for you TV and will also allow you to use the shelves and drawers to store things like speakers, DVD players etc.
Another idea would be to sue mobile furniture. This way you'll have the freedom the change its location without much effort, in case there are different opinions. This is an equally functional options that, in addition, gives you the possibility to experience multiple choices until you find the optimal one.
If you've already decided where you want to place you TV, you could opt for a more elaborate décor and choose a wall unit. This option also provides you with a lot of storage space as you can opt for shelves, cabinets, drawers and combine them in any way you want you simply go with a massive wall unit that usually has a special spot for the TV.
The fourth option would be a hidden TV space, like the ones we see in old movies. You can go for a cabinet or anything else that allows you to hide the TV behind a door. Even though it sounds like fun, I find this option less practical. The last idea would be to build a set of shelves and place them as you want on the wall.
