Interesting Bird Nest Giant Bed

Posted: 12 Oct 2011 10:17 AM PDT

Kids seem to have more energy than a machine. They are able to walk, run and play all day long with any stop. I have just experienced this thing with my own daughter. Although she is only ten months she is sable to walk and run very well. For the moment I sustain her as she is not able yet to walk on her own but everyday she makes big progresses. The funny thing is that I seem to get tired more quickly than she does or I fall asleep faster than she. Perhaps the youth of her organism is the main key here. The inconvenient is that cannot do anything in the house if she is not in a safe place where she cannot escape from.

Interesting Bird Nest Giant Bed

Thus I saw this interesting Giant Bed which seemed to me great for when you have kids. It is a great place inspired by the bird nest where kids can sit comfortably and feel secure. The Giant Bed looks like a real bird nest where your baby seems to play and wait for his or her parents as a real baby bird.

Its natural design brings more life and color into your house. It will inspire you a peaceful atmosphere and make you think of the life of those tiny birds which make a real effort when they build their nest and create their own family.

Rustic yet elegant house in Biarritz, France designed by Isabel López-Quesada

Posted: 12 Oct 2011 06:22 AM PDT

Spanish designer Isabel López-Quesada is famous for her beautiful interior decors, for the way she sues texture and color and the way she manages to combine styles and materials in a harmonious and stylish composition. This is a house located in Biarritz, France. As you can see, it was designed by the same talented artist. It's a very inspiring house, with a beautiful interior design that is different in each room and yet there's a continuity throughout the house.

Notice how cozy this place looks. It seems rustic and yet it's also very elegant, a combination very hard to obtain. The furniture doesn't belong all to the same category, not even the one in the living room. Notice the vintage/antique lounge chair sitting between a rough wooden coffee table with storage underneath and a chic sofa, with a simple and stylish design.

Every little piece has its own place in there. There are all sorts of details that make this place unique. For example, the small decorations of the wall in the living room. To me they resemble either butterflies, leaves or birds. Furthermore, there's a green element in almost every room. Plants are an important element and a big part of the décor. I also enjoy the covered terrace, also filled with plants and comfortable lounge chairs.

Classic and contemporary interior design

Posted: 12 Oct 2011 04:41 AM PDT

This residence is owner by a young couple who had a lot of imagination and exuberance, specific to their age and wanted to come up with a dynamic and original interior décor. They decided to mix styles in order to obtain the look they were aiming for. You'll notice that there's a harmonious mix of both classical and contemporary elements in all the rooms. In the living the atmosphere seems to be very casual and inviting. The sofas placed face to face invite you to sit down and relax while having a pleasant conversation with the other guests. It's a functional arrangement, very good for the living room.

Classic and contemporary interior design

The unusual coffee table that you see in the middle was actually designed by the owners. It's a representation of their personal tastes and it integrates quite naturally into the décor. Even though they're a couple, they don't have the same tastes and they don't like the same things, which is actually natural and very common. Considering this factor, they had to reach an agreement so they've decided to mix and match their favorite items.

Modern and colorful apartment in Gothenburg

Posted: 12 Oct 2011 12:56 AM PDT

This bright and colorful apartment is nothing like the wooden houses and cafés that form the rest of the surroundings in that area. The apartment is located in Haga, , a city district in Gothenburg, Sweden. In that area there's a dreamy 19th century atmosphere that takes you back in time and where everything has a story to tell.

The apartment is situated in a 1905 building, on the third floor. The building is a typical structure that blends in the whole historic neighborhood. However, this particular apartment tends to stand up with its bright and vibrant colors and a combination of modern and traditional elements.

The apartment covers an area of 1.076 sq ft and it has two bedrooms and one bathroom, along with the rest of the room including the kitchen and living area. The kitchen/dining area is a large and spacious room, with plenty of space for cooking and dining. It's visible that, even though the apartment was renovated, there are still some elements that have been preserved like the details from the ceiling and the traditional doors and windows. From the kitchen there's direct access to a small open area, like a balcony or small terrace.

The living room is wide and spacious as well, with white walls and ceiling and wooden floors. There's not a lot of furniture in there, so this is something that the new owners can take care of. Nevertheless, there's a very ingenious coffee table with wheels that can't go unnoticed.

Also, the paintings hanging on the wall above the sofa are also a beautiful and refined detail. The bedroom also has a series of black and white trees painted on one wall, an interesting detail in contrast with the plain white walls.{found on alvhemmakleri}

Unconventional Bendy Rubber Bookshelf by Luke Hart

Posted: 11 Oct 2011 11:17 PM PDT

Every one of us intends to become something and wants to get a great job which can bring them a lot of satisfaction, relaxed days, a good social position and why not, a lot of money. I am one of the persons who followed the ideas that I had when I was a little girl. Each time I was asked what I wanted to become my answer was the same, an English teacher. So, here I am, working as an English teacher. It is a hard job which presupposes a lot of extra work and the satisfactions are those spiritual and personal because the financial part is not such a bright side which can get you rich.

Unconventional Bendy Rubber Bookshelf by Luke Hart

As I have many papers to work with and a lot of books that I need to read imagine what kind of bookshelves I need in order to store all these items. Unfortunately my personal bookcase became out of space and my books of different sizes and dimensions are not perfectly stored. The thing that I hate most is the straight, solid shelves which do not allow me to store books of different sizes.

Luke Hart seemed to have an excellent idea and created this unconventional Bendy Rubber Bookshelf. This type of bookshelf can accommodate any kinds of books due to its flexible properties. It looks also funny and interesting.

Modern Bookstore Modrijan in Center of Ljubljana

Posted: 11 Oct 2011 10:41 PM PDT

Located at Trubarjeva ulica 26 in the center of Ljubljana, the Bookstore Modrijan is situated in an old building that dates back to 1938. The building originally served as a sewing place and textile store until it started being used as a national magazine, a state publishing house, a toy store, a cloths store and finally it was turned into a bookstore. Hopefully this will be the final makeover.

Bookstore Modrijan

The bookstore opened its doors in September 2009  and was designed by AKSL arhitekti d.o.o.. It's not a typical crowded bookstore. As you enter, there's five meter high entrance hall surrounded by a gallery on three sides. The bookstore measures a total of more than 300 sq meters and the space is filled with wall cabinets and islands.

The books are stacked on shelves and arranged by content. There's a central area that includes the gallery and another space for the children's books. This area is actually multi-functional and it can be used for book presentations, cultural events, press conferences and it also serves as a play area.

That is a bookstore that doesn't desire just to sell as many books as possible. It's an inviting place where people enter with pleasure and they feel welcomed. This is the kind of atmosphere that would rather encourage people to buy books, rather than just box them up in a crowded space where they can't even find a place to rest.

The place to go if you need some items for arts and crafts is Hobby Lobby. They provide a wide range of crafting materials, including yarn, fabric, beads, and paints. Additionally, they are among the businesses that are open on most holidays. The majority of Hobby Lobby locations are open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. They never operate on Sundays because the proprietors think that day should be set aside for worship and rest. hours for hobby lobby
