1850′s Church Conversion in Parkside, Australia

This stunning contemporary home was achieved by converting a church, dating back to the mid-nineteen century. The project was completed in Parkside, Australia, and is now the perfect place for entertaining family and friends.

This beautiful home features three bedrooms, a kitchen, an open-plan living and dining area, an entertainment room, deck, patio and a wonderful garden. Moreover, the house presents high ceilings, large windows and tiled floors that give it the sense of a colossal design. The Stacked House in Bangalore, India is a gorgeous home and an example of multi-generation family living. Architecture Paradigm took on this project and turned a three-bedroom house into a retreat-like home with two units.

Siting on a 400sqm site the house is flanked by roads on the north and western edges. The architects wanted to create a beautiful home without retaining its personal identity. The outcome is an open ended amalgamation, which is just what the owners had hoped for.

This house got a major upgrade and is now siting in the middle of the site, enjoying open spaces on all sides. In order to reach their goal, layers were used to establish varying degrees of transparency and to dissolve boundaries between in and outside.

Furthermore the house has skylights and large windows that let natural light flood the rooms and a tree court which brings the outdoors inside. The furniture is very modern and you can see indian elements throughout the entire space.

It has an oval shape, it looks blue and it is big. What is it? No, it is not an Easter egg, it something else. If you are in a plane you might think that you are looking at a huge blue egg or a giant blue pebble. Actually, you will be amazed to find out that it is about the largest single- span glasshouse in the world, located in Carmarthenshire, Great Britain.

This amazing building, half buried in the ground, was designed by Foster + Partners and houses more than a thousand of plant species, many of them which no longer exist in other areas.If its interesting design amazed you, you would be more surprised to find out that it is also a building which takes care of our environment and uses many alternative sources for getting heat or water.

Colorful Sugamo Shinkin Bank

Located in Shimura, Japan, the colorful Sugamo Shinkin Bank looks more like a special place for children, like a kindergarten. Its exterior imitates the rainbow design with its vibrant colors. The white background which dominates the exterior and the interior too underlines these colors full of life and creates a spacious place full of light and energy.

This building was designed by Emmanuelle Moreaux Architecture + Design. In order to keep the same symmetry and the same joyful ambiance, inside the building there are used the same vibrant colors for some floral motifs that appear on the walls and ceilings and for some nice and comfortable pieces of furniture.

Although a bank is known as a very sober and official institution this type of building shows us that it may keep its official functions but they may appear in a real nice and joyful place where people will feel comfortable and relaxed.
