There's really no reason not to, because they can be very useful and functional and, as this example will prove to you, they can be found in very beautiful designs as well. The Aberdeene Corner seat is a very functional and very comfortable piece of furniture. It has a simple design that allows it to make a great addition to any modern or classic home. It has a square or diamond shape, depending on how you look at it.
It features a reinforced hardwood frame with sinuous carbon tempered steel spring support. The cushions are made from high-density foam core, topped with thick polyester fiber. The dimensions of this piece are 37″W x 37″D x 26″H and it includes a coordinating toss pillow. They can be used in a variety of different ways and for all sort of different purposes. And the designs related to this item are often very nice and interesting.Another interesting design for a side table was created by Paolo Cappelli. It's called the FIL table and it was created for the manufacturer Miniforms. What is interesting and unique about this side table is the fact that it's very simple, almost too simple. And that doesn't make it less functional or good-looking. On the contrary, I would say that simplicity is often a big plus when it comes to furniture designs. The less features and decorations it has, the more elegant and beautiful it is.
This table only features a very simple steel base, painted in either white or red, and a round glass top. It sounds like a standard description, but when you're looking at the product you immediately see why this one is so different and beautiful. I really like this piece. It's functional, interesting and beautiful and it can easily be incorporated in any modern home. |

| Posted: 26 Apr 2011 12:07 AM PDT You've probably seen a lot of different designs for armchairs, come of them more colorful than the others, traditional vs modern, with all sorts of different patterns and shapes and sizes. Now it's time for something simple and traditional, that would make a nice addition to any room of the house.
It's an armchair with chrome steel base and legs, Dacron wrapped foam cushions and black faux leather upholstery. Some people are really reticent when it comes to faux leather, but in the end it's not such a big difference, as long as you really like the piece. This armchair has a very simple design that follows the traditional pattern. However the clean lines and geometric shape give it a modern flair. It could make a great addition in the living room, providing some extra sitting space, or in the bedroom or it could even make a great office chair. | How to look after teak furniture? Posted: 25 Apr 2011 08:08 PM PDT Teak is natural golden color hardwood material that is commonly used for crafting furniture pieces. Teak wood is oily in nature and can easily resist warping, rotting, contraction as well as expansion due to charges of weather. However, though it is a quality material but still teak furniture demands proper care and maintenance like the other furniture pieces. With little attention and care, the life of your teak furniture can be easily increased by tenfold. Regular cleaning – as teak is a dense wood, it can be easily quick washed with a mixture of water and mild soap. A soft utility brush may be used to get rid of the surface dust and dirt. However, the furniture piece should be rinsed efficiently after cleaning and allowed to dry off completely.
Natural look – if you desire to maintain the natural original wooden look of the teak furniture, sand the surface of the furniture. This shall remove the old cells that are responsible for the changing color of teak. Employ fine sandpaper and wood grain sand. After sanding the surface, remove the dust and wipe it with a damp cloth before you oil it.
Oiling – The natural honey color of the teak furniture can be easily sustained by regularly cleaning and oiling the teak furniture pieces. The process should be initiated every three months.
