So you try to make your home a safer place for them and for you, too so as to avoid having a heart-attack when you see your kid drinking water from the toilet. So the smart people who have ideas and have had kids invented some useful gadgets like this toilet seat lid- lock.

| Simple table with 3 blackboards incorporated Posted: 19 Mar 2011 07:26 AM PDT Here's a situation that everybody has experienced: you're trying to explain something to a person, she or he doesn't understand what you're trying to say so you get annoyed and you say "do you want me to draw it for you?". It might sound offensive but sometimes this is the reality. The truth is it is a lot easier to explain something when you have a pen and a piece of paper or, in this case, a table that has blackboards incorporated in its design. The three little blackboards pop out just when you need them.
It's both fun and practical. A lot of persons have this habit of scribbling down things when they talk on the phone. Others just walk around the room during the whole conversation. Sometimes it drives you crazy.
But, anyway, it's not intentional. So, instead of criticizing them, let them have fun with this ingenious table designed by Tyanyn Xiao.Now it's just a simple table and one moment later it transforms into a space waiting to be turned into your own drawing board.

| Posted: 19 Mar 2011 01:24 AM PDT When I am in a hurry I never find my keys. My husband is angry, the kids are screaming and they are all waiting for me to find the keys and finally lock the door. So I would use a funny and useful key holder for my home, something to place my keys in and know exactly where to find them after a while. I found this nice looking and elegant key holder that is actually available in two versions: His and Hers.

| Posted: 19 Mar 2011 12:36 AM PDT I think that the old fashion large dining tables are dead and buried. We no longer need them except maybe once or three times a year when we get together with all family members for Christmas or Easter dinner. Otherwise we only need a small useful table to place the coffee cup on and the magazines or maybe the vase of flowers or some other small items we might need. As I keep saying, space is important nowadays so why don’t we have more of it and less furniture for a more comfortable and spacious home? Divo side table is the perfect illustration of my words, as it is both modern and small, decorative and functional.
It is designed by Rodolfo Doldoni and is manufactured by Minotti. What I like most about it is the original design. It is made of big black-nickel finished discs that were laser cut and after that welded in an original manner, looking like a chain from the side.
The table top is also a disc and so is the support. It looks really modern and original and it is pretty solid despite the first impression.It is not for sale in the online stores, but you can consult the manufacturer’s list of stores and find the one closest to you.

| Staple Bed by Alexander Seifried Posted: 18 Mar 2011 11:51 PM PDT We keep talking about stackable chairs and other pieces of furniture for outdoors for example that are also stackable because we, people, have grown more and more in number, so space is very important. SO what can you do when you need both furniture and space? Well, you can use stackable furniture. Today I will present you the Staple bed that was designed by the German designer Alexander Seifried and manufactured by Richard Lampert.
This bed is amazing because you can use it as a sofa in the living room on a regular basis, but when you have a guest who needs to sleep over you simply turn it into a double bed. As you can see in the photo, it’s very easy because the “sofa” is actually made of two stackable parts of bed that are placed on top of each other. Use the mattresses and the side cushion for the side of the bed where you need it and the change will be quick and great. I think it’s very useful, but also stylish and the combination of colours is daring, but very nice. It is also available in beige-grey and salt-pepper.
