[ClermontFLReUseIt] Volunteer opportunity; few hours per month

 

I got into a wonderful volunteer opportunity; providing clothes to inmates who are being released from the Lake County Correctional Institution.  My husband is encouraging me to reach out to others on this project because it is getting to be too big for one person. 
 
I believe that we are supposed to help the widows and visit those in jail.  Since I don't know anybody in jail to visit, this is about as close as I can get!! 
 
Here are the tasks -- would you see if you would enjoy doing one of these tasks once a month?
 
1 task) Picking up 2-3 bags of clothes from The Second Life Resale store on  Hwy 27 and delivering them to the home where they are going to be washed and folded. 
 
1 task) Washing and folding the bags of clothes. Labeling the clothes' sizes with a small piece of masking tape. Boxing or bagging the clothes by type (shirts, pants, t-shirts, polos, coats, etc.)
 
1 task) Picking them up from the Washing house and Delivering them to the Correctinal Institution or my house as you prefer (whatever you are comfortable with).
