My personal belief is that things in a bedroom should be pleasant and relaxing, making you comfortable there and not very strong in color. That is because you are supposed to sleep in a bedroom and I really think that your peace of mind during sleep can be influenced by the things you see before you fall asleep. That is why I prefer floral pints on all my bedding sets. And I also like cotton for the sheets because it feels so nice and warm, perfect for sleeping.

Floral prints on the bedding sets are nice looking and sweet and not only for the girls, as men can feel very well in them, too. I am talking about those floral prints in small floral patterns and very delicate colors that can be chosen for any matrimonial bed, too, as well as for the teenagers room. Let’s take for example this set – it’s perfect for a girl’ s room, as the pink border is a wonderful background and also frame for the small floral print. The entire room suggests serenity and delicacy and the white walls match perfectly the entire atmosphere.

This set is universal and unisex – white cotton sheets with small red flowers on that can be perfect for any kind of bedroom, even for a hotel, for your grandma’s room or for your little girl. The third one is a bit stronger, but still very nice. The flowers are bigger in size and red, but the white background calms down the overall picture and the pink of the pillows turn it into a sweet room.

How about this one – floral patterns can have green or blue shades, too, which makes them really nice and perfect for any kind of bedroom. And, I don’t know why, this set reminds me of my childhood when I used to cuddle in my grandma’s bed in the morning.

How to Bring Masculine Details into your Home

However, contemporary minimalistic interiors are very much masculine and work amazingly for houses that prefer having vision lines and open spaces. If you are using strong lines, assure that rest of the room is de cluttered so that the strong lines catch attention immediately.

4) Allow in light – Since masculine attributes tend to be rich and dark, absence of good light sources will make the space gloomy and dark. Use of light will bring a healthy glow to your room. Details will be showcased and the area will not appear heavy. For masculine details, consider using lots of artificial lightings.

5) Order – Order needs to be given utmost importance for the masculine look. Scattering cushions on the bed and having random pictures on the wall will not work here. Follow the geometry theme and arrange things in an orderly fashion in the room. For displaying collectibles and artwork, try grouping the items in three. This will allow you to maintain the order as well throw light on harmony and design.
