Another Luxury Home from A-Cero architects

Posted: 30 Aug 2010 08:38 AM PDT

From the cobbled stones that breathe with nicely manicured grass between them where you would expect some white cement to the finely landscaped cubes of lawns close to the main verandah, the first impression is a well planned property.

And this is exactly what the A-Cero architects of this luxurious Spanish home had in mind. True its impressive outside, the inside is even more magnificent. The main lounge is designed to blend well with the surroundings so that you can enjoy the gorgeous gardens outside and get the instant craving to dip yourself into the cool water of the inviting adjacent swimming pool. The use of the bold black color in the main living room coupled up with the one-of-a-kind hanging candle-like chandeliers, the white sofas and the panoramic view of the lawns outside transforms you into another fantasy world.

The house boosts to have some of the most expensively assembled pieces of graceful furniture and fittings that would leave some in the Birmingham Palace seem an outright insult to the Royal hood.

Sobrino House in Medoza , Argentina by A4estudio

Posted: 30 Aug 2010 07:29 AM PDT

A very contemporary building built in 2010, the Sobrino House is located in Medoza , Argentina. It was designed by A4estudio by architects Leonardo Codina and Juan Manuel Filice and occupies a Total Square area of five hundred and forty Metres.

The Sobrino House captures creativity of the highest level; in fact a kind of a divine imagination. Creating a home that also serves as the working area or office isn't an easy feat considering an official and casual environment that will co-exist is designed. But the architects from A4Studio manage to develop just that.

They were able to create a storied master plan that would ensure that all rooms have proper fittings and furniture, there is proper entry of sunlight, the ventilation is perfect and there is interdependence of activities
The design is simple yet complicated and basically uses a system that strips the house off the natural slope of the site.

Beautiful Residence in Aspen, Colorado With Awesome View by Studio B Architects

Posted: 30 Aug 2010 06:38 AM PDT

The house in this location captures the ideas of clients who love picturesque, colorful designs all in a revolutionary manner. The set-up is a 1965 design and the setting is in a steep, down-sloping site but the potential of being a photographic and a prime location does not deter these Miami and Aspen residents from seeing their dreams come true.

The final results are not disappointing none-the-less. One of these pieces of architectural wonders is the Scholl residence. It has a beautiful exterior where large windows open up for the light and views of nature of this mountainous location. The sand-blasted concrete walls, Zinc Panels and tempered glass railings give the impression of a beautiful and strong façade. And if you think the exterior is elegant, wait till you see the interior design of someone who was neither in a hurry nor under a tight budget.

The expensive darkened oak flooring invites hospitability. The expensive European cabinetry, Carrere marble and porcelain tile showers and restrooms make staying hygienically and clean a workable reality at the Scholl Residence.{ Studio B Architects }

Captivant House by Ramon Esteve Architects

Posted: 30 Aug 2010 05:23 AM PDT

The Ramon Esteve design of the Paz Y Comedias house captivates both the mind and soul. This is a place where the human mind is best at ease with itself, its imagination and peace. The plainly un-blasted stones walls rise graciously from the blue waters of the pool on one side, the oak tree wood laid on to make the floor on the other side and forms the pillars to the large glass windows that opens up to the spacious living room. All this combination of fashionable and tasteful design forms the patio to the Roman Esteve house.

What's more? In between nowhere in this cobbled stone wall is a gate-less archway that opens up to the inviting lawns and the gardens outside. Bright and white colors have never appealed to many people but the way Roman Esteve makes use of his will captivate you. The tall white walls blend just perfectly with the white couches, expensive fittings and glass-topped tables. The juxtaposition of contrast found with the placement of colored utensils, artwork and strategically placed carvings and paintings adds a distinct taste not found with many contemporary designs.

Contemporary Home In Madrid by A-Cero Architects

Posted: 30 Aug 2010 02:04 AM PDT

This property is located on the outskirts of Madrid and is designed for a large family. With large living rooms, numerous bedrooms, several  restrooms, a padel  track and even a lake within its compound you have a feeling of what am talking about. The staircase that leads to the imposing walls have a well manicured grass you'd be mistaken to rest there thinking it was the lawn. The landscaping is elegantly done and a well trimmed climbing plant is allowed to spread amiably to the walls.

Perhaps what you won't fail to notice about this A-Cero design is the particularly creative use of rectangles and triangles. A glance from the patio to the main foyer reveals walls protruding like some pyramids in a triangular design. Then a huge rectangular glass stand on one wall of a gallery room reflecting some flowery plants outside it's difficult to make out which is the reflection and which is not. The use this tri-rectangular design is also prevalent with the futuristic design of the dining table; it protrudes from one corner and folds in acute angle forming the table top before culminating into a dead-end, all without the use of legs.

The kitchen is fitted with stainless steel fittings and aluminums shining all the way to the ceiling above. The only other shade here is the white table and some rectangular topped chairs that look as if they bare curved rather than placed there.
